Jujutsu Kaisen (呪術廻戦, lit. “Sorcery Fight”) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Gege Akutami, serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump since March 2018. The individual chapters are collected and published by Shueisha, with fourteen tankōbon volumes released as of January 2021. The story of Jujutsu Kaisen manga follows high school student Yuji Itadori as he joins a secret organization of sorcerers in order to kill a powerful Curse named Ryomen Sukuna, of whom Yuji becomes the host.
Jujutsu Kaisen manga Synopsis: The story of Jujutsu Kaisen is set in a world where Cursed Spirits feed on unsuspecting humans and fragments of the legendary and feared demon Ryomen Sukuna have been lost and scattered about. Should any curse consume Sukuna’s body parts, the power they gain could destroy the world as we know it.
Fortunately, there exists a mysterious school of Jujutsu Shamans who exist to protect the precarious existence of the living from the supernatural! Yuuji experiences first-hand the threat these Curses pose to society as he discovers his own newfound powers. Introduced to the Tokyo Metropolitan Jujutsu Technical High School, he begins to walk down a path from which he cannot return—the path of a Jujutsu sorcerer.
